Mission Statement
The Undeclared College Council (UCC) serves as a liaison between the Division of Undergraduate Studies, the (7) College Councils and SDSU’s student government (Associated Students). The UCC represents over 1,000 undeclared students on campus and supports students during their decision-making processes by:
- Fostering a strong sense of community on campus by connecting students directly to resources, student organizations, faculty and other students.
- Promoting academic success by connecting students to peers and advisers in the Colleges of Arts and Letters, Business, Education, Engineering, Health and Human Services, Professional Studies of Fine Arts and Sciences.
- Linking students to SDSU’s Career Services’ counseling and resources to assess personal interests, abilities and values.
- Encouraging students to take a proactive role in their overall learning experience by participating in campus organizations, leadership training, service and academic support programs.
- Advocating for undeclared student support and visibility across campus and communities.
For any concerns, inquiries or ideas you may have in regards to the undeclared experience, please fill out the Contact UCC form.
