We invite new students to kick of the new school year at Aztec Nights First Night Fest! There will be music and dancing, inflatables and games, free food, giveaways, and more! This is a great opportunity to have fun with your fellow students and celebrate the start of your SDSU adventures together. Event runs 9pm – 1am on Campanile Walkway. Bag check is required.

Pump up the Gym (Pump It UP!) is an event designed to be a high energy environment to welcome students to the brand new Aztec Recreation Center. The DJ will pump up the volume by playing music styles popularized in the 90’s. Our featured activity will be inflatable archery tag, think robin hood meets paintball! The gymnasium will be jumping with inflatable activities like the colorful obstacle course, inflatable jousting, 3D Twister, Axe Throwing Game, and more
Enjoy the Old West Frontier on the Mesa! Campanile Walkway will be transformed with thrilling carnival rides, game booths, prizes, music and delicious food, all with an old-time western flair! Co hosted by Residence Education and New Student and Parent Programs.

Now is the time to glow in the dark! Drag returns to Aztec Nights in Dragstravaganza: After Dark! This brand new format of SDSU’s iconic Dragstravaganza meets drag, dance, and wanderlust in a night where folks will not only get to celebrate drag on stage, but get up close and in person with student drag performers, locals, and professional legends! Pack up the camper, and grab a glowstick - this is the drag party you’ve been waiting for.
Enter the multiverse with Aztec Nights! Enjoy a movie under the stars, with a hosted candy bar and sweet treats! Test your knowledge of the Spiderman Universe with multiple trivia games and Spiderman themed prizes! Hosted by ASUB (Associated Students Union Board)!
Due to rain, we're postponing the roller skating night. Instead, join us for a cozy movie night with hot pizza as we watch Everything, Everywhere, All At Once! No wristbands required, just bring or know your Red ID number. One guest (18+) per student is welcome to attend with a valid ID.

It's time to laugh! Join us for Aztec Nights Comedy Night in the Aztec Student Union Theatre. Enjoy the talents of professional commedians, followed by a trivia challenge to test your knowledge of comedy movies and TV shows.
Students will relive each season of Stranger Things in this experience hosted by Aztec Nights and Dance Marathon. Look forward to all your favorite aspects of Hawkins! Be on the lookout for arcade games, a surprise food truck vendor, swag, prizes and more as you learn why we raise money for Rady Children’s Hospital. A State-style music festival held right on campus! Come enjoy music festival themed treats at our open candy and boba bars in between dancing on our silent disco floor, getting airbrush tattoos, or getting your future read by an astrocartographer.
Bring a blanket and join us for a movie night on Aztec Green! We're calling all cosplayers to show off your best Superhero look in our "Loki-like" costume contest! Get your photo taken with Thor, God of Thunder, and test your Marvel knowledge in 2 rounds of trivia. The first 100 attendees will get a free cape so you can show of your superhero spirit! Calling all anime, BTS, & K-drama fans! POP on over to the APIDA-POP Expo at the Tula Community Center on Oct 21st from 10pm-1am. Come celebrate all things APIDA-pop. There will be Asian snacks, spam musubi, anime drawing demos, Bollywood dance workshop, K-pop random dance play, cosplay contests and more. Join Aztec Nights, the APIDA Center, and APIDA student orgs for a poppin' night! Limited free parking in Lot P3.

Whether you are looking for a good Halloween scare, or prefer a heartwarming fall classic, join us on October 28th from 10pm-2am on Campanile Walkway for a double feature movie night with mouth watering snacks and desserts! Blankets will be provided for this floor seating event. Grab a friend or a flashlight and head on over!
Are you ready to dance with Dracula, skate with skeletons, and scream with spectors!? Aztec Nights hopes to make your Halloweekend full of scares, smiles, and SNACKS. Check out our haunted roller skate, photo booths, dance parties, food trucks, and more on Oct 29th from 10pm-2am on Campanile Walkway! Come in your costumes or as yourself for a night we promise won't leave you with nightmares.
