Event Cancellation Notice
In line with the most recent National Weather Service reports predicting heavy rain and thunderstorms now concentrated on Sunday, the New Student and Family Convocation, originally planned for Sunday, August 20, 2023, has been canceled. Students, parents and families should not visit Viejas Arena, as no convocation-related events are planned at this time.
This decision was difficult, and follows conversations with public safety experts and university leadership, as part of our continued monitoring of Hurricane Hilary. At SDSU, our position is that community safety is our number one focus and our top priority.
