Hello Aztecs, Last year, SDSU had the highest voter turnout on record in A.S. Elections. Let’s beat that record! I am writing today to strongly encourage you to vote in the A.S. Elections. All voting for A.S. Elections takes place on SDSU’s WebPortal between now and 7 pm this Thursday, March 20th. Just click on A.S. Elections to start and it takes just a few minutes to elect fellow Aztecs to represent your interests. ![]() Those elected to A.S. offices will have the opportunity to make important decisions about the university and student life on campus. Being an elected student representative entails responsibilities such as speaking on your behalf at meetings; directing A.S.’ $22 million dollar budget; and helping to organize and fund activities for students. It also includes finding out the needs and concerns of students and presenting those to the university administration and city and state government. Needless to say, these students are charged with many responsibilities but most importantly, they represent YOU! If you have questions about voting or the A.S. General Elections, please contact the Associated Students Office at (619) 594-6555, or visit the office on the third floor of the Conrad Prebys Aztec Student Union.
