Give your car a rest and join us for delicious and nutritious, local, and organic brunch foods all for FREE! Fix your bike, learn more about active modes of transportation, and don’t forget to use your reusable containers to take snacks on the go! Enjoy the GreenFest smoothie bike, a build your own trail mix station, and healthy activities with Rec and Wellness!

Ever thought about how various cultures practice sustainability? Come join us for a variety of amazing performances from different cultures seen around the world, and interact with student organizations to learn how they combine sustainability with various aspects of their cultures. Be inspired by spoken word artist, Yosimar Reyes, enjoy food samples, and be a part of the blessing ceremony with Danza Mexi’Cayotl!

Come watch SDSU's Aztec Chefs compete for the title of SDSU's GreenFest Chef Champion! Chefs will battle in a series of 'Iron Chef's style competitions. It’s going to be a night to remember! See how your fellow Aztecs bring together the three pillars of GreenFest in another competition. Enjoy a showcase of creative Student Team music videos that revolve around sustainability, diversity and Aztec Pride and watch the teams strut their stuff in a fashion show to showcase style and creativity in putting together different outfits using only recycled materials. Don’t miss out on this amazing and fun event with giveaways!

We’ve teamed up with the Green Love Commission to continue the Green Lunch Bag Series during GreenFest week! This year’s GLBS is unique as we collaborate with Headstrong and the College of Health & Human Services to bring the “Renegade Gardener,” Ron Finley. Students, faculty, staff and professionals are encouraged to attend and learn how they can positively impact the environment! Oggi’s will be providing delicious vegan and vegetarian options.

Come cheer on our Aztecs as we strive for victory against the UNLV Rebels with The Show! During breaks and halftime, Student Teams will compete in some GreenFest trivia to earn their final points in our last Student Team competition! Head over to the Farmers’ Market for some lunch and support our local San Diego businesses! Gain knowledge of the appropriate way to dispose of your trash from our very own “trash talkers” who will help you learn how to sort effectively and efficiently! Enjoy interactive activities with Arts Alive and e3, and win a prize!
6pm @ the Cal Coast Credit Union Open Air Theatre
The concert has arrived! Finish off GreenFest week by listening to some tunes with your friends and finding out the Student Team competition winner! Support your fellow SDSU Student Band, the Feds, as they open for Support Act, Sammy Adams, and Headliner, Chance the Rapper! Doors will open at 6:30pm.

Did you enjoy Grow with GreenFest where you had the opportunity to learn more about gardening and planting succulents? Well, get ready for the Spring by planting your own flower(s) and partake in various Do It Yourself activities!

The e3 business fair is an opportunity to showcase eco-friendly and sustainable businesses to the student body. Our goal is to familiarize the students with our vendors so they can support local businesses and promote a healthier and environmentally conscious way of living. Visit the different booths and find out more about how you can live sustainably, and maybe even get yourself an internship!

Our GreenFest 2015 Keynote Speaker, Winona LaDuke, is the Executive Director of Honor the Earth, the largest Indigenous environmental organization in North America, and the author of 6 books. She is an inspiration to all and you are bound to leave this event enlightened and motivated to protect our beautiful planet and natural resources. This event is open to all students, faculty, staff and community members, so feel free to invite your friends!
