a. Scarlett Walker, A.S. Chief Justice, delivered a resolution information session covering the definition, significance, process, expectations, and timeline associated with resolutions. - Resolution Process Update - A.S. Vice President of External Relations Abby McLachlan (Action)
a. Provided an update on the current resolution process and shared relevant information regarding recent developments and procedures.

An overview of the Student Bill of Rights was presented, including changes made to each section to better reflect and represent all students.

The resolution was introduced to affirm support for immigrant students and address concerns regarding the impact of current federal immigration policies on the student community. - UCB S26-02 Resolution Upholding Student Governance and Financial Accountability in Mandatory Fee Decisions - College ofSciences Student Council (Information - 1st Reading)
The resolution was introduced to emphasize the importance of student governance and transparency in decisions related to mandatory student fees. Feedback was provided regarding the fee decision letter. - General Consent Agenda ( Action)
It was moved and seconded to approve the General Consent Agenda.

IX. REPORTS OF UNIVERSITY COUNCIL MEMBERS
- Karen Sawouq, ASBOD Student-At-Large:
Met with Dr. Caryl, the newly appointed Dean of Students, and Dr. Haj regarding the SWANA/MENA Graduation Celebration. Currently gathering registration information for participants. - Marco Loza, ASBOD Student-At-Large:
Scheduled the Deferred Maintenance Committee meeting for next Thursday.
Additionally, finalized and approved the official title for the MBA program. - Noah Stuart, ASBOD Student-At-Large:
Collaborating with university administrators to support registration efforts for the SWANA and MENA graduation ceremony. - College of Arts and Letters:
Updates included the upcoming Donuts with the Dean event.
A resolution regarding an academic partnership agreement was reviewed.There was a review of check requests. - College of Business:
The American Marketing Association has welcomed 323 new members.
Women in Business raised approximately $1,700 for Dance Marathon.
Women’s organizations attended and supported Women in Sports Night at the campus basketball game. - College of Education:
The Spring Fair is scheduled for April.
A Mobile Fingerprinting event is being planned.
A CPR certification event will take place on March 21, with a $30 participation fee.
Career Services hosted a walk-around engagement event to connect with students. - College of Engineering:
Five recent events were successfully completed.
The council will compete in the Spirit Competition at GreenFest.
A collaboration with the Computer Science Club will take place Friday from 5:00–7:00 PM, featuring a project challenge using popsicle sticks to build a structure that can travel the farthest. - College of Health and Human Services: The Meet the Professionals event is being improved for future iterations.Budget discussions are ongoing. A.S. Justice attended a meeting to discuss updates to council bylaws. Executive Board elections will be held soon.
- College of Professional Studies and Fine Arts: The Career Fair Ready Series will take place this Thursday.Filming related to the Career Fair will occur both this week and next week..
- College of Sciences: A DEI Town Hall titled “Diversity and Science Careers: Diverse Pathways” will be held next Wednesday from 1:00–1:50 PM in Council Chambers.A social event will be held next Friday from 5:00–7:00 PM at Templo Mayor.Collaboration with the Mustard Seed Project will involve assembling hygiene kits in Council Chambers.Donuts with the Dean will take place March 23 from 1:00–1:50 PM in Council Chambers.

XII. EXECUTIVE REPORTS AND A.S. ADVISOR REPORT
- Nadia Gallarzo, Vice President of University Affairs:
Provided updates on the “Your Voice Matters” Push Week, noting widespread promotion and strong initial engagement with the initiative.
Discussed the Career Services Advisory Board, which is open to all members in collaboration with College Council presidents.
Reviewed bylaw updates with the College Councils, including expectations for CBC representatives and timelines aligned with College Council deadlines. - Kareen Holstrom, President:Working to develop clearer terminology regarding A.I. usage in academic settings, particularly regarding instructional grading practices.Collaborating with peers and committee leadership on updates to the SDSU institutional statement, including reviewing additions and removals.Note that the Associated Students election period is approaching.Announced academic achievements: Evan and Peter were accepted into Ph.D. programs, and Myah Moreno was also recently accepted.
- Milan Rawls, Executive Vice President: Hosted the first campus accessibility event last Friday.The Director of Emergency Services announced that a fire evacuation plan for campus will be released soon.The A.I. The Senate group is developing principles emphasizing human-created work.Spoke at the Fast Track panel, noting that participants may later serve in college councils.AAA Awards nominations close March 16; students, faculty, and staff may be nominated.Tickets for GreenFest are now available to claim. The concert kickoff event will take place from 5:00–6:00 PM prior to the concert.
- Abby McLachlan, Vice President of External Relations:Participated in budget discussions and housing advocacy efforts in Sacramento last week.Student Trustees have submitted recommendations to the Governor regarding the next student representative for the board.
- Aliza Siddiqui, Vice President of Financial Affairs:The Faculty Affairs Committee is exploring expanded travel opportunities.The Financial Aid Office will not host the usual financial workshop series, but will provide alternative programming.Meetings should be scheduled regarding funding allocations for cultural organizations next year.The Study Abroad Scholarship deadline was March 9 at 12:00 PM.
- Christina Brown, Executive Director:Election candidate information will be released Friday, with campaigning beginning shortly after.Debates will take place March 17–19 from 12:00–1:00 PM in the Union, open to all students.Students are encouraged to participate and vote.YG will perform this Saturday, alongside two student bands.Mountain West Conference basketball events are happening in Las Vegas, For March 14–15 games, approximately 100 tickets remain available for students to claim.
XIII. ANNOUNCEMENTS:
- Milan: Announced a 5K walk/run to promote health and wellness.
- Celina: Shared that the Women’s Resource Center is celebrating Women’s History Month and encouraged everyone to look out for updates.
- Noah: Mentioned that Minions 3 will be released on July 1st and expressed concerns about the removal of main characters Kevin, Bob, and Stuart.
- Ari: Noted that a halal Jewish organization will celebrate a Jewish holiday on Friday, with free food and a chance to win a JBL speaker; there was some confusion about Halloween mentioned in the note.
