I. CALL TO ORDER

A.S. Chief Justice Kiana Caton called the meeting to order at 8:06 AM in Presidential Suite at the Conrad Prebys Aztec Student Union.

II. ROLL CALL

A. Voting Members Present: Kiana Caton, Sergio Cisneros, Brenna Culliton, Dillon McLean, Sarah Nohrden.

B. Voting Members Absent: Erik Tamiyasu, Jacob Grant

C. Non-Voting Members Present: Jennifer Esquivel-Parker, Lee Mintz.

D. Non-Voting Members Absent: None.

E. Visitors Present: None.

III. MODIFICATION OF AGENDA:

It was moved and seconded to approve today’s agenda.

NOHRDEN/CISNEROS

Awards Committee minutes were added to the agenda as Action Item E. as a friendly amendment.

The agenda was approved as amended.

IV. APPROVAL OF PREVIOUS MINUTES

It was moved and seconded to approve the Judicial Affairs Council minutes from 11/7/2014 as attached.

V. CHAIR’S REPORT:

SDSU Homecoming turned out great!

VI. INFORMATION

A. Attendance and Duty Report: Inviting Tyler Aguilar & Jaynie Lee to the next JAC meeting.

B. Cultural Events: Reviewed list & Kiana is sending out.

VII. ACTION

A. Appointments and Resignations (pg.1): It was moved and seconded to approve the appointments and resignations memo, as attached.

B. Requests for Excused Absences:

  1. It was moved and seconded to approve the request for an excused absence from Jane Kwon for missing the ASUC meeting on 11/5/2014, copy attached. MCLEAN/CULLITON CARRIED, (0-3-0)
  2. It was moved and seconded to approve the request for an excused absence from Kiana Caton for missing the ASJAC meeting on 11/7/2014, copy attached. MCLEAN/CULLITON CARRIED, (3-0-0)

C. It was moved and seconded to table all the remaining action until the next meeting.
