A.S. Executive Vice President Milan Rawls called the meeting to order at 3:43 p.m.

- SDSU Vice President of Student Affairs and Campus Diversity Designee, Dr. Caryl Montero-Adams reported on the following:
No report. - Black Resource Center Presentation (Time Certain: 3:45 p.m.)
Dr Malcolm Olvver, Black Resource Center Director, presented on the Black Resource Center and discussed staff, programming, and updates on the center.

IX. REPORTS OF CAMPUS LIFE COUNCIL MEMBERS
- Milan Rawls, Executive Vice President, reported on the following:
Conversations about accessibility and disability and infrastructure are still ongoing.
Went to GSA to learn about current concerns and focuses.
Planning to do a resolution overview later in the semester for those that aren't able to make it to the University Council meeting.
A part of an AI working group and Undergraduate senate committee is developing a chat bot for roadmapping for course requirements. - Kareen Holstrom, A.S. President:
Universal transportation pass discussions are being had.
The SWANA resource center is still in progress to find a space.
Academic Partnership agreement will be discussed in March with the main focus being AI transparency.
Aztec shops will attend BOD on March 9th to discuss meal plans.
A resolution on ICE is in progress bringing the total to 3 resolutions that will go to UC this semester.
Freedom of Expression group is meeting to discuss principles of community statement. - Aliza Siddiqui, A.S. Vice President of Financial Affairs:
FAC is looking to expand travel funding amounts.
The financial aid center is not doing financial aid workshops due to lack of attendance, so groups can only do a reservation that guarantees attendance. Requesting feedback to find out what types of workshops that students will attend.
Cultural organizations need to schedule meetings with Aliza to discuss the cultural budget for next semester. Study Abroad Global Education scholarships applications will be going out for review and approval. - Abby McLachlan, A.S. Vice President of External Relations:
Discussed the new College Area Community Plan, which will allow for higher forms of delegation.
The California Higher Education Student Summit (CHESS) will take place in Sacramento in March. The delegation will learn about relevant bills.
VP External shared that students may take a mental health leave without reapplying. Rock the Vote is preparing for the primaries. ERB held the first reading of its immigration resolution and continued the discussion. The Advocacy Toolkit is nearing completion. ERB and Lobby Corps are monitoring student-impacting legislation and exploring advocacy efforts. - Nadia Gallarzo, A.S. Vice President of University Relations:
Over 100 YVM submissions over the past week.
Abby did a 2nd read of the updated resolution process and will be voting on it next week UC.
Advised there will be a resolution being reviewed regarding ICE. - Christina Brown, Executive Director:
Elections and appointments. Elections applications have closed but the appointed application is still open. Advised to please start recruiting members to apply for chair roles for next semester.
The Mountain West Conference tournament is approaching (March 13-15) and tickets will be distributed to students for a minimal fee (more information coming soon). - Brian Levett, Government Affairs Assistant Director:
No report. - Payton Scott, CLC Student-At-Large, reported on the following:
Met with a student to address their individual needs and attended the APA meeting, where clear communication regarding AI use in syllabi was presented. They also reaffirmed preexisting policies. - Misha Yohannes, CLC Student-At-Large, reported on the following:

Working on flowchart for Student Org handbook, due to confusion that students are suffering while reading the handbook.

Bill of rights going to UC. - Aztec Student Union Board reported on the following:
Next week is Greenfest. Discussed the week of the events of the week that can be found on the Greenfest website. Advised you can pick up your greenfest ticket on Sunday. Advised of additional ASUB events. - Campus Community Commission reported on the following:
Good Neighbor Cleanup this Sunday in the Union from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Advised campus community will be meeting with marketing to create a video on Safe Ride Program - Community Service Commission reported on the following:
Good Neighbor Cleanup collaboration with Campus Community.
Service Fair on March 12th from 12 a.m. to 2 p.m. - Student Support Commission reported on the following:Community Connect was a successful event despite the rain.Reusable Bottle discussion was had regarding the cleaning and redistribution of abandoned water bottles at the ARC and Student Union. Advised that the Food Pantry expanded hours.
- Recreation and Wellness Commission reported on the following: Season 2 of intramurals is open. ARC will be having a bin for the SwapShop event. Flashback Friday heated barre class. March 6th, adapted showcase from 2-5 p.m. ARC is at 79% for ARC membership activations, which is close to the goal of 80%. Outdoor yoga class being hosted at the Info Oasis event.
- Student Diversity Commission reported on the following: The Palestine resolution had its first read-through. SDC’s Roots & Remedies event with Greenfest on March 5th.
- Sustainability/Green Love Commission reported on the following:Green Love is working to implement EBT and SNAP benefits at the Student Union Market and will meet tomorrow with advisors and the Executive Board to discuss next steps. Additionally, the GreenFest Listening Party will take place from 12:00–1:00 p.m. in the Union Courtyard, with GreenFest Week beginning in March.
- Marketing and Communications Commission reported on the following:Conducted a website scavenger hunt to explore the A.S. website and identify user challenges. They also shared that the collaboration video with YVM is live, tabling is planned about two weeks before elections, and fun Valentine’s Day themed story posts are ongoing.
X. ANNOUNCEMENTS:
- Chloe - Weekly meeting space reservations are now open for next year as there is more demand from student groups. Advised to make sure groups fill out the form as soon as possible.
- Alyssa - Mac & Cheese with AGD from 5:30 to 10:30 p.m.
- Sofia - Announced that a consumer alert went out to inform renters rights.For more information you can go to city attorney heatherferbert.com
- Julia - Movie screening for Deaf President Now! is coming up on Monday.
- Milan - Invited everyone to run or walk 5k on March 7th at Liberty Station. Proceeds go to Child Abuse America.
- Angie - MURC posted a message of support regarding what happened yesterday with thoughts that Immigration services were present on campus.
- Christina - Process has been laid out in regards to immigration services protocol.
