A.S. Mobile Food Pantry

The A.S. Mobile Food Pantry provides nutritious food and food program referral services for SDSU students experiencing food insecurity.

Look for the A.S. Mobile Food Pantry booth Thursdays at the SDSU Farmers’ Market, 10 a.m. - 3 p.m., North Library Walkway. Stop by to pick up food and to find out how you can volunteer to help.

A.S. No Waste is a sustainability initiative designed to reduce food waste in the Conrad Prebys Aztec Student Union and to provide food to SDSU students facing food insecurity.

Economic Crisis Response Team

In addition, if a SDSU student is experiencing an immediate economic crisis — a need for housing or food — the SDSU Economic Crisis Response Team (ECRT) can help. Simply visit their website at go.sdsu.edu/student_affairs/ecrt or email ecrt@mail.sdsu.edu.

The Economic Crisis Response Team, or ECRT, is a group of staff, administrators, students, and faculty from across campus working together to ensure students experiencing food or housing insecurity, or other immediate, unforeseen financial crises are connected with short-term and long-term aid quickly and without stigmatization.

The team was created to coordinate already existing resources on campus, and collect information on off-campus agencies that provide different types of support to college students in need. We also seek out opportunities to provide access to these different types of support through awareness activities and partnering with others already doing outstanding service related to food or housing insecurity.
