Text: Associated Students Welcomes You Back for the New School Year!

Josh Morse: Hello Aztecs my name is Josh Morse and I am the Associated Students President. We welcome you to this new year! We hope you are just as proud as we are to be Aztecs. Here are a few tips you should know about the first couple weeks of school!

Becca Cohen: Hello Aztecs my name is Becca Cohen and I am the A.S. Executive Vice President. A great way to get involved is by checking out the get involved expo. The first week of school head over to North Library Walkway where clubs, organizations, A.S., fraternities and sororities will be tabling on different days to get you to be a part of their organization.

Mariah Kelly: Hi Aztecs. I’m Mariah Kelly your A.S. Vice President of Financial Affairs here to tell you to come to Meet Your Reps Night on September 18 at 6 p.m. in Cuicacalli Dining Hall. This is your opportunity to meet all of your representatives and hold them accountable for what you want to see at SDSU this year. I’ll be there and I can’t wait to see you.

Javier Gomez: Hello Aztecs and welcome back. My name is Javier Gomez and I am the A.S. V.P. of External Relations! The first weeks of school are filled with exciting events known as Aztec Nights, open to all students, including a campus carnival on Campanile Walkway, and a paint party with 500 gallons of neon paint and 20,000 watts of music. Morgan Chan: Hello Aztecs. My name is Morgan Chan and I am the Vice President of University Affairs. Aztec football is coming and we are looking to get another Mountain West Conference tittle! You won’t want to miss the first game on Saturday, Aug. 31, against Eastern Illinois, beginning at 5 p.m. The KGB SkyShow, the largest fireworks display in San Diego, will be held following the game. Get your tickets here at the box office. Don’t forget to pick up a trolley pass and on game day make sure to wear red. See you there and go Aztecs!
