About the Commission


GOALS

The Campus Community Commission puts forth the following goals:

  1. To offer educational programs to the SDSU Community in campus residential life, Fraternity and Sorority Life, cultural communities and others relating to responsible behavior expected of community members.
    Topics to include: understanding proper biking etiquette, driving and parking laws, campus safety, and local ordinances related to drinking, trash, and noise.
  2. To organize and encourage students to participate in community activities throughout the semester including community clean-ups and community engagement events.
  3. To increase community awareness of all events that benefit the community at large by promoting both university and community-sponsored programs through the use of various mediums.
  4. To increase community relations and build bridges between community leaders and university student leaders to inspire positive working collaboration.

Mission

Associated Students Campus Community Commission seeks to serve our fellow students, neighbors and community through education, programming, outreach, and collaboration with the college area community in order to foster communication and build long lasting relationships.
