Make A Splash with GreenFest
1pm @ the SDSU Aquaplex
Ready for a pool party?! Join us at the first GreenFest student team competition as teams compete to build a boat out of recycled materials to then race across the pool at the Aquaplex. Following the Boat Challenge, the Aquaplex will be a hub for all students to enjoy a pool party and kick off GreenFest week with a focus on water!
Monday, March 2:

Celebrate sustainability by commuting to school on foot, by bike, bus, trolley or in a carpool. Give your car a rest and join us for delicious and nutritious, local, and organic brunch foods all for FREE! Fix your bike, learn more about active modes of transportation, and don’t forget to use your reusable containers to take snacks on the go!
Sustain Your Roots

Ever thought about how various cultures practice sustainability? Come join us for a variety of amazing performances from different cultures seen around the world, and interact with student organizations to learn how they combine sustainability with various aspects of their cultures.

Aztec Chef Competition

Come watch SDSU's Aztec Chefs compete for the title of SDSU's GreenFest Chef Champion! Chefs will battle in a series of 'Iron Chef's style competitions. Enjoy free samples of the Chefs’ amazing creations, and learn how to utilize healthy ingredients to make delicious meals on your own!
7pm @ Montezuma Hall
It’s going to be a night to remember! Head over to Montezuma Hall to see how your fellow Aztecs bring together the pillars of GreenFest in another competition. Enjoy a showcase of creative Student Team music videos that revolve around sustainability, diversity and Aztec Pride and watch the teams strut their stuff in a fashion show to showcase style and creativity in putting together different outfits using only recycled materials. Don’t miss out on this amazing and fun event!
Wednesday, March 4:
Green Lunch Bag Series
12pm @ the Union Theatre
We’ve teamed up with the Sustainability/ Green Love Commission to continue the Green Lunch Bag Series during GreenFest week! Students, faculty, staff and professionals will be able communicate in an open forum to discuss sustainability today and how YOU can be the change. A light organic lunch will be provided.
Men’s Basketball Viewing Party vs. UNLV
7pm @ Montezuma Hall
Come cheer on our Aztecs as we strive for victory against the UNLV Rebels! During breaks and halftime, Student Teams will compete in some GreenFest trivia to earn their final points in our last Student Team competition! There will be prizes and giveaways for all!

Head over to the Farmers’ Market for some lunch and support our local San Diego businesses! Gain knowledge of the appropriate way to dispose of your trash from our very own “trash talkers” who will help you learn how to sort effectively and efficiently!
6pm @ the Cal Coast Credit Union Open Air Theatre
The concert has arrived! Finish off GreenFest week by listening to some tunes with your friends and finding out the Student Team competition winner! More details on artist and ticket sales will be announced soon.

E3 Business Fair

The e3 Business Fair is an opportunity to showcase eco-friendly and sustainable businesses to the student body. Our goal is to familiarize the students with our vendors so they can support local businesses and promote a healthier and environmentally conscious way of living. Visit the different booths and find out more about how you can live sustainably, and maybe even find yourself an internship opportunity!
