One Vision, United
Sean Devlin
Since moving to SDSU, I have been actively involved in both my fraternity, Sigma Phi Epsilon, as well as throughout AS. I’ve sat on both the
ModernSpace and GreenLove boards since their creation. As one of the longest standing members of these committees, I’ve ensured student needs are
considered foremost, while ensuring the environment is respected in our renovation. I’ve served on IFC, and have been one of the most productive members
of the Facilities Board for several years, while working as a Facility Manager of the Aztec Center. I’ve also worked to increase council member responsibility
on Rules Committee. I believe that A.S. should work more feverishly to become a more sustainable corporation, while increasing its outreach to the
general student body.
VICE-PRESIDENT OF EXTERNAL AFFAIRS
(One Seat Available)
Daniel “Oz” Osztreicher
Having the opportunity to become Vice President of External Affairs would be a tremendous honor. I feel I can represent San Diego State University
on a local, state, and federal level with great dignity. As the Vice-Chairman of the External Affairs Board I have learned many things such as planning
community service events and lobbying our City Council. Being a member of the Phi Kappa Theta Fraternity and serving on the Inter Fraternity Council
has taught me what it means to be a true team player. I hope to be the voice of the students on topics such as high tuition, book costs, housing issues,
and any other issues that need to be raised in the College Area.
Daniel Osztreicher – "Bolting Into Action"
Andrew Nurre
Hey SDSU, my name is Andrew Nurre and I want to represent you at the position of Vice President of External Affairs. I seek this office because
I think our school needs a change. I have not been involved in A.S. before now because, like most of our campus, I was apathetic towards it. However,
after countless statewide budget cuts coupled with tuition and fee increases, I have simply had enough. If elected I promise to work tirelessly to
keep fee increases to a minimum, in order to keep more of your hard earned money in your pockets. SDSU students need one of their own to work
for what is most important to them. I will work to serve nobody but you, the students.

A.S. Council Representative for
ARTS AND LETTERS
(Four Seats Available)
Benjamin Levine
My priority as a representative would be to communicate issues that arise at AS Council meetings to the Arts and Letters College Council for review.
This review, including opinions, suggestions, and relevant information are an important link that needs to be enhanced. Having served Sigma Phi Epsilon
Fraternity and the Inter-fraternity Council Executive Board, I believe I have developed necessary leadership skills to be a strong representative
of CAL. By shadowing AS Vice President of Finance, Justin Motika, I am aware of the major issues within AS, including the Green Love Initiative,
Spring Referendum, and Modern Space. As a representative I will ensure CAL has an influential voice in the development of these projects. For
a motivated and passionate CAL rep, vote Benjamin Levine.
Natasha Loomis
As an A.S. Council Member, I would like to make sure that the referendums, if passed, would achieve the goals and events that they have proposed.
The Annual Green Festival and the Reserve book room expansion would be great additions to our campus. I believe the Council needs to discuss adding
more classes because it is difficult to get necessary subjects. I have always enjoyed being involved in the betterment of the student body. I was
the co-Social Chair for RHA in Spring’07. I am currently the Special Events Chair for CASE, which constitutes planning night/weekend programs, an
AquaPlex Pool Party, and supporting Homecoming and Azfest. I am captain of my intramural soccer team, and plan on joining AMA this semester.
Stephen Udoff
I have been involved with Associated Students for the past two semesters. I am External Affairs Board member and through External Affairs
I joined Lobby Corp. Also, three semesters ago I was Vice President of Media for the Environmental Business Society. I am part of
Sigma Chi Fraternity here on campus where I have the positions of Alumni Chair and Kitchen Chair.
My goal as an A.S. Council Member will be to get more student involvement with all events that are set up through the school. I would like
to for the students of Arts and Letters be more aware of what is going on within the school. I will be on A.S. Council as a representative for
the students of Arts and Letters.
Kristopher Piper
To be a representative for the College of Arts and Letter would be a great opportunity. I feel I can represent the students of Arts and Letters
effectively and with great dignity. As a Political Science major and President of the Phi Kappa Theta Fraternity I have learned the value of being
a team player and a leader at the same time. I have also learned the importance of open communication and shared governance. I hope to be the voice
of the students of Arts and Letters. As a representative I would fully support the Green Love campaign and work hard to ensure it’s continuing success.

Since I started my education at SDSU, I felt a strong attachment to this university. This is why I am actively involved in many organizations, which
include: Sigma Theta Psi Sorority, SDSU ambassadors, a former member of External Affairs Board, and a current member of the Multi-Cultural Caucus.
I also currently represent the United Sorority and Fraternity Council on AS. I plan to continue to represent the student body and to take this role
seriously. If elected I will be representing a larger population and will keep their views in mind, as well as continue to promote our campus’ diversity.
An area that can be improved is the student to faculty relationship, which is beneficial for letters of recommendation, outside research, and overall
networking.
Grant Mack
I am a second semester freshman at San Diego State University and I am currently a member of the fraternity Sigma Phi Epsilon. As of this
semester I hold a membership position on the University Affairs Board and I am the Transportation Sub-committee spokesperson. If elected, my future
goals as an AS council representative will be to involve more students from the college I am currently running for (Arts and Letters) along with the

fraternities at SDSU and the improvement of the Greek system as a whole.
As an A.S. Council member, I plan to fully represent the College of Arts and Letters in all Council decisions, and speak out for the betterment

with resident hall residents and AS faculty.

My goal is to be a spokesperson for my fellow students in the PSFA College, making decisions and judgments not only for their best interest, but
also for the general student body of SDSU. I plan to be a liaison between students and Associated Students, who truly represents and questions,
rather than just be a messenger and keep silent.
I believe there needs to be a greater connection and understanding between the college councils and the A.S. Council, in goals and concerns.

College Council, where I am in charge of reaching out to the community. Also I am currently the President of the SDSU Excursion Club, an outdoors
organization focusing on camping, backpacking and mountaineering. Last year, I served on the AS Facilities board, where I learned about the various
boards and their function on this campus. My goal, if I am elected is to voice the opinion of the students and their organizations. The main issue
I think AS should address is to create a designated area for students to bike and skate on campus.
Mitchell Correia
As a current member of the executive board in my fraternity, I have excelled in my abilities as a leader and continue to pursue leadership positions
in and outside of my chapter. Just a few of my goals as an A.S. Council Member are to improve the class crash system for students as well as
getting a bike and skateboard path on campus to make traveling to class faster and more efficient. I would also like to propose solutions to
the A.S. Council on the issue of the new budget cuts to SDSU. Overall I would like students to feel more familiar with the A.S. student body
and how it works, and would also like students to feel like their voice is being heard.

A.S. Council Representative for
UNDECLARED and UNCLASSIFIED
(Two Seats Available)
Gabriel Ruiz
If elected as the undeclared council representative for the third year in a row my goal is to transform the position into a functioning council
much like the other college councils. One of my goals is to hold a majors fair to inform students about new careers and opportunities.
The one issue that should be addressed by the next council is student involvement, many students who are not involved on campus feel
like there is no connection between them and the school. This is a problem because the majority of students are not in student organizations.
Some of my experience includes: 2-time AS undeclared representative, RHA VP of Programming, 2-Time Delta Sigma Phi Social Chair, AS
Executive Committee, 2-Time IFC Representative
A.S. Council Representative for
GRADUATE STUDENT ASSOCIATION PRESIDENT
(One Seat Available)
Veronica Antonio
I am working closely with the current GSA president to learn the many responsibilities of this new office. These duties include attending Graduate
Council, organizing social and scholarly functions (like this year’s Martial Arts Lecture), and continuing SDSU’s new art and scholastic journal, Pandemonium.
I want to make more resources available for grads. For example, study rooms in the library, currently locked and empty, should be opened for access
by all graduate students. We deserve clean, well-lit rooms to study and research undisturbed.
I am the only candidate endorsed by Alan Silva, the current GSA president. But I need more than his support, I need yours! I would be honored to
serve SDSU grads; and I would proudly accept your vote. Thank you!
