Campus Safety Presentation – John Browning, Chief of SDSU Police Department: Chief Browning introduced Lt. Lamine Secka, who presented information about “active shooters.”

XI. EXECUTIVE REPORTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS
- President: James reported on the following:
- James reminded candidates to give their information to The Daily Aztec.
- Budget rally is coming up (sponsored by the University). James encourages everyone
to attend. The first planning meeting is next Monday, more details to follow. March 20th from 12:00pm-1:00pm.
- Congratulate students who participated in the Student Research Symposium.
- CFAC meeting next week.
- Referendum: if you have time to cruise around on the golf carts, go to the GAO and
they will call and see where the cart is located, if you would like to participate.
- Execs will be going on a retreat this weekend to bond with each other.
- Michelle Adams let everyone know about the newfound AS Chapter of the SDSU Alumni Association. She encouraged graduating seniors to join and get this chapter started.
- James reminded candidates to give their information to The Daily Aztec.
- Executive Vice President: Jameson reported on the following:
- Jameson did an overview of Aztec Achievement Awards.
- Jameson also encouraged student orgs to apply for office space. Applications are due Friday, March 21st.

- Vice President of External Affairs: Jeremy reported on the following:
- CACC is holding elections next Wednesday at 7:00pm. Jeremy encourages all registered
members of CACC to come to the meeting and cast their vote.
- Jeremy is leaving with other students to Washington, D.C. next week. One lobby
visit is already confirmed with Rep. Hunter.
- Community Service event at Hardy Elementary School is April 14th (sponsored by EAB).
- External Affairs Board is the best board ever! EAB does so many great things and has the best board members. EAB Rocks!!!
- CACC is holding elections next Wednesday at 7:00pm. Jeremy encourages all registered
members of CACC to come to the meeting and cast their vote.
- Vice President of Finance: Justin reported on the following:
- Budget hearings will be April 7th-10th.
- More GreenLove updates to follow next week.

of University Affairs: Mike reported on the following:
- Next Friday, UAB will hold a BlackBoard focus group. If you are interested
in attending, please write your contact info on this sheet.
- If you are still interested in doing GNP, please talk to Gabe, there may be a few
extra spots open.
- Mike really encourages everyone to continue making announcements about the referendum.
- UAB voted to support the resolution for a bike lane.
- Next Friday, UAB will hold a BlackBoard focus group. If you are interested
in attending, please write your contact info on this sheet.
- President Pro Tempore: Joy reported on the following:
- Only three people came to the Annual Report Workshop. Boo! If you are not a College Council seat, you need to be prepared to submit a report by April 10th. Please get in touch with Joy to go over duties.
- Executive Director: Jen referred to the written report (attached).
- University Senate’s Designee: Dr. Ornatowski reported on the following:
- There will be a rally in response to the budget cuts on March 20th.
- University President’s Designee: Dr. Avery reported on the following:
- The Student Research Symposium went very well. It was an amazing display of our students’ research abilities.

the Society of Physics Students is offering free tutoring every Tuesday and Thursday from 10:00am-12:00pm in P-247 (upstairs Physics building).
- Save a life! Donate blood! Next Monday from 11:00am-4:00pm at the Free Speech Steps – brought to you by Alpha Epsilon Delta.
