Aztec Achievement Awards

The Aztec Achievement Awards recognizes excellence in the numerous contributions that students, faculty, staff, and community partners make to the San Diego State University community - all in one special evening.

In addition to the presentation of the Aztec Achievement Awards at the ceremony, the outgoing AS Executive Officers pass the symbolic gavel to the newly elected Executive Officers. This moment gives the outgoing officers to thank individuals and to offer any reflections about their year as the hard-working leaders of the AS organization. For the incoming Executive Officers, the passing of the gavel marks the beginning of a rewarding experience to represent the SDSU student community.
