How do I take the trolley to an event at Cox Arena/Open Air Theatre?

Where should I park for an event at Cox Arena?

Parking Structure 4 and Parking Structure 5 are the primary parking areas servicing Cox Arena.  Disabled parking is available in these structures and in K Lot.

Where should I park for an event at the Open Air Theatre?

Parking Structure 3 and Parking Structure 6 are the primary parking areas servicing the Open Air Theatre.

Do I need to pay for parking at a Cox Arena/Open Air Theatre event?

For most events, parking is FREE in the designated parking structures and areas.  Please contact the Cox Arena Management Office at (619) 594-0234 with questions.

How do I buy tickets for an event at the Cox Arena/Open Air Theatre?

You may visit the Cox Arena or Aztec Center Ticket Offices to purchase tickets for events at both venues (link to ticket office information page).  You will avoid the Ticketmaster service charge if you purchase your tickets in person at the above ticket offices.

You may call Ticketmaster at (619) 220-8497 or visit their website at www.ticketmaster.com to purchase tickets.

Will alcohol be sold at the event I am attending?

Alcohol sales vary from event to event.  Please contact the Cox Arena Management Office at (619) 594-0234 for more information.

Can I bring my camera to the event?

For Aztec basketball games, still cameras and video cameras are allowed.  However, NCAA rules state that video taping is not allowed while the ball is in play.

Tripods are not allowed at any time in the Cox Arena/Open Air Theatre.

Can I bring my stroller to the event?

Due to Fire Marshal Regulations, strollers are not allowed in the Cox Arena or Open Air Theatre.

Is Cox Arena an indoor or outdoor facility?

The seating area and event floor are indoors.  The majority of concession stands, restrooms and main entrance gates are outdoors.
